Five, Combined for Yesterday and Today

1. I'm too busy to write up ten more things for today! Horray, busy! Root canals! Crowns! Fillings, Extractions! Bring 'em on!

2. I'm thankful for my hands. I love working with my hands, at my job, at my knitting, etc. I have good hands . . . not beautiful, but they work really well. I finished knitting a hat the other evening, and it's one I'm keeping for myself because I like it. I made it for me.

3. I'm having fun spending time with David. He's been home since Saturday. We've had dinner together every night. Ahhh.

4. I like music. I podcast I listen to occasionally is called "The Concert" and features a concert recorded live at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Another podcast I like is the Tiny Desk concert series from NPR. It's a video (or just audio) podcast recorded live at the NPR offices. The musicians stop by and do two or three numbers for a short concert. I like to listen to my kids and grandkids play music.

5. I'm tired right now, looking forward to going to bed. I'm thankful for my bed. My mattress has a nest-like indentation in it where I sleep. You might think I  need a new mattress, but the nest is quite comfortable.
